00:00<obmij>now it just hangs
00:00<xbj9000>vlc is great, it plays anyting
00:00<xbj9000>yeah pretty much
00:01<obmij>aww I went for xine
00:01<obmij>maybe I'll get both on
00:01<obmij>and delete mplayer
00:01<xbj9000>I don't like xine really
00:01<obmij>mplayer used to be great on my BSD machine... I dunno why it's acting up here
00:01<xbj9000>vlc is not all that bulky, and it's worth having for times when you encounter a weird file that nothing else will play
00:01<xbj9000>mplayer is working fine for me
00:01<obmij>hot damn
00:02<obmij>should've sounded off earlier
00:02<xbj9000>but there's some bug right now with audacious, hoping that's cleared up soon
00:02<obmij>god mplayer won't quit
00:03<obmij>phew -9
00:04<obmij>xine can't even handle it
00:04<obmij>aptitude install vlc?
00:05<xbj9000>I use apt-get but yeah that should be right

00:27<istoc>I think dnsmasq was upgraded, dkpg renamed my config but even when I used the old one prior to the upgrade it still didn't fix the problem
00:27<qq>it seems is a bug in dns* , try BTS
00:28<dpkg>Bug Tracking System for Debian packages, or to go directly to the bug page for a particular package/bug, try or . aptitude install reportbug, and check out <querybts> too. 20:08<dpkg>somebody said etchnhalf was "etch + 1/2" -- an update to Debian's stable release "etch" designed to provide support for newer hardware. It will include a 2.6.24 kernel and provide an updated installer. See:
