16:38<jthomas>that thing, does that parse windows apps and attemppt to install similar apps on the linux side?
16:39<jthomas>because i have yet to find a linux equivalent for my much-missed MyWay.MyWebSearch addon ;)
16:39<sd_>rafal: fglrx is in non-free repository. It's necessary to alter your /etc/apt/sources.list and add "non-free" in order to have access to it. I've installed it recently for my home PC.
16:40<rafal>sd_: i already have done it
16:40<sd_>:) ok
16:40<rafal>sd_: i think dpkg-reconfigure xserver-corg not works
16:40<rafal>sd_: i think dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg not works
16:41<rafal>it only asks me about heyboard
16:41<sd_>there is nothing to reconfigure, alter your xorg.conf manually Driver "fglrx" -- that's it.
16:41<jthomas>the new and "improved" xorg doesn't give you options for the driver, you have to manually edit /etc/X11/xorg.conf :(
16:41<themill>rafal: lenny? You don't need to.
16:42<jthomas>with my lenny i also had to enter info about my monitor in order to use fgrlx
16:42<sd_>btw, fglrx has it's own configurator for X -- it's quite intelligent...
16:42<rafal>Section "Device" Identifier "Configured Video Device"
16:42<jthomas>oh? let me know, i cannot get myne working
16:43<rafal>i dont think its inteliigent
16:43<sd_>I meant fglrx package from ATI.
16:43<jthomas>the aticonfig app?
16:43<sd_>I checked it. :) It was OK.
16:43<jthomas>when i run aticonfig it complains about missing Screen section or something
