01:23<Woet>I've configured a crontab to run every 10 minutes. According to syslog, it runs fine:
01:23<Woet>Jun 3 07:20:01 manatee /USR/SBIN/CRON[13101]: (ffs) CMD (php -f /home/ffs/domains/sprunkbuster.com/public_html/actions/import.php #Banlist)
01:23<Woet>however, it does not get executed.
01:23<jm_>it does, otherwise it wouldn't show up there
01:23<Woet>it works fine when I execute that exact command myself as 'ffs', but the crontab fails somehow.
01:23<Woet>jm_: everything what's in import.php does not get executed.
01:24<Woet>it doesn't send me an E-Mail, like I configured it to (it does when executing manually)
01:24<Woet>and it also doesn't write a log file, which it does when executing manually

01:35<Woet>jm_: how to configure it?
01:36<Dats`>That is a hypothetical question.

14:47<deref>by the way cahoot, I tried googling this problem for 5 hours this morning. I just want you to know I'm not purposfully wasting your time
14:47<cahoot>deref: what's in 70-persistent-net.rules now?
14:48<deref>it has one line for my wlan0 which is fine
14:48<cahoot>none for eth*?
14:48<bja>deref: can you paste your line
14:48<cahoot>deref: any module loaded for eth*?
14:49<deref>the eth0 line says: SUBSYSTEM=="net", ACTION=="add", DRIVERS=="?*", ATTR{address}=="spoofed MAC", ATTR{type}=="1", KERNEL=="eth*", NAME=="eth0"
14:50<deref>it keeps grabing that spoofed MAC from somewhere??

Regarding the fact that we only see one "disk" while there are many in the inside . 23:07<TongueOfColicab>Hi, how can i get access to my ntfs partitions from debian
23:07<sney>ntfs-3g
23:07<jamuraa>hikin: it is the epoch number. It is used in some packages if the version number for a newer version would otherwise be considered an older version. In this case you can increment the epoch number, and higher epoch numbers will always be considered later versions than older ones no matter what else they have after them

23:51<peterS>geforce 4 series used to be very well supported by the nv driver. the proprietary binary-only nvidia thing, pretty sure it wouldn't be in the newest driver but they have a 'legacy driver' fork they might let you use.
23:52<ml|>colt: go to http://wiki.debian.org/NvidiaGraphicsDrivers there are some links that shows what's supported, it should work just try it and use that link to install it gl
23:52<peterS>but why use that, it's not like with a geforce 4 you really care about 3D performance, just use the nv or nouveau drivers
23:53<colt>interesting. it's hard to navigate the gui through the glitchy random shapes and boxes

23:56<peterS>colt: read /var/log/Xorg.0.log if you can (use 'less' or similar to read it). if you're using the nv driver there will be lots of lines starting with (II) NV(0):....
