01:52<kPb_in>jmarsden, ok... i m creating a deb package.. i understand how packages are created but m bit confused abt naming conventions..
01:53<kPb_in>when should i start package name with php5-* or libphp-*
01:55<jmarsden>kPb_in: If the package installs libraries only, probably libphp- is better... but that's really a question for #debian-mentors. If your package is only for private/personal use, of course you can name it anything you want that does not clash with an existing package name :)

10:27<serge>Hello! I have Etch with Postfix+SASL. SASL relies on PAM for SMTP-authentication. Now I need to add virtual mail users, but in the same time to keep using old real system users and old auth method sasl->pam(passwd) for them. Apparently I need to hook up one more auth method employing MySQL. But where? I guess I can add it directly to SASL (/etc/postfix/sasl/smtpd.conf) OR to PAM /etc/pam.d/*something - btw, I dont see here any config files for sasl
10:27<serge>or smtp. Could somebody please help me? Especially I'm not sure about the syntax. All I've googled, refers to one (sasl-pam(passwd)) or another method sasl->MySQL. I need sasl->pam & MySQL OR sasl->pam(passwd, mysql). Help me please.

22:32<int_80h>sime, depends on your vpn setup
22:32<int_80h>but yes that is theoretically possible
22:33<sime>simple vpnc and rdessktop
22:33<int_80h>what is the goal? to access your machine at home from work?
22:33<sime>will i need to route that with iptables?
22:33<int_80h>iptables does not handle routing
22:33<sime>i succeded in connecting to the vpn and use rdesktop
22:34<int_80h>if you just want to use rdesktop, just use ssh port forwarding. much simpler, just as secure
22:34<sime>i just want to watch porn while working
22:34<int_80h>uh

22:34<int_80h>do i need to point out what a terrible idea that is, all around?
22:34<int_80h>for starters it's insta-firing at 100% of non-porn-related jobs
22:34<sime>my companie uses a cisco vpn , I cant use ssh..need to connect with vpnc
22:34<int_80h>you can always use ssh
22:34<int_80h>just change it's connecting port
22:35<int_80h>ANYWAY, sounds like you've got it under control
22:35<int_80h>have fun with your...whatever
22:35<sney`>ha
22:35<sime>thank you
22:35<sime>i will look into iptables to get only rdesktop traffic to go into the tunnel
22:35<int_80h>sup sney
