07:13<hargut>babilen: I've seen that list before, but most of those providers are disqualified at the first look. I just want to have a a neat dns provider, and I don't want any f*** filtering on dns requests or redirection of dns requests)

07:15<hargut>for the last month I used opendns, but it's quite shit with destroying the awesome bar of ff and their redirection stuff.

12:09<nathan>hi, hum i'm bored with my apt. When i wanna delete ONE paquet, APT return a list of paquets wich will be deleted oO. I just wanna delete a paquet 'x', not all my distribution <<
12:10<rudi_s>nathan: Are you sure the other deleted packages are necessary? apt tries to remove packages which are no longer necessary.
12:10<rudi_s>!why aptitude
12:10<dpkg>aptitude has more advanced conflict/dependency resolution and will often find a solution where apt-get gives up. It can be used from the command line like apt-get plus an interactive resolver makes it much easier to recover from broken dependencies. It has advanced search capabilities (see <aptitude search>).

23:48<dpkg>If you want help on a topic, you HAVE to say more than "it doesn't work, help!" or else you'll get no help whatsoever. Give as many details as you can or else no one can give any suggestions. For most questions, you should at least give your arch (i386 for most people), your Debian <version>, and your kernel version. Give exact error messages where applicable.

23:49<sney>!ubuntu
23:49<dpkg>Ubuntu is based on Debian, but it is not Debian, and it is unlikely to live up to Debian's standards (see <Debian policy>). Only Debian is supported on #debian. Use #ubuntu (irc.freenode.net) instead. Even if the channel happens to be less helpful, support for distributions other than Debian is offtopic on #debian. See also <based on debian>.
23:49<KhainSolja>Lol.
23:50<KhainSolja>I'm confused.
23:50<KhainSolja>Well bye
23:51<sney>this is a Debian support channel. You're running Ubuntu. They are not the same thing. People in #debian use Debian, so we don't use Ubuntu, so we don't know how to support it.
23:51<sney>Please go to the correct channel.
23:51<KhainSolja>Oh ok I'm sorry to waste your time.
