04:20<ole>Guys, I have a question. I'm maintainer of a software project and have released a new release ages ago. I've notified the debian maintainer so he can include a new package into debian. He hasn't been responding at all. There's also a bug requesting the version bump that's assigned to him (http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=526898). What can I do to get the new version into debian?

23:29<DennisTheTiger>I've just obtained a Minolta 1250W laser printer. I am able to print a test page by way of the interface at http://localhost:631, however, using the spooler in Gnome, it does not seem to work: the job leaves the spool, but the printer sits there, happily blinking and doing nothing more. Any ideas? Running stable, uname -a output follows.
23:30<DennisTheTiger>uname -a output is Linux hibachi.chez-vrolet.net 2.6.26-2-686 #1 SMP Wed May 12 21:56:10 UTC 2010 i686 GNU/Linux
