00:38<kcin8>well its fixed now. i compiled up kernel 2.6.35.7 and the load is 0.00 as it should be
00:39<jordanm>driver bug prehaps
00:40<kcin8>probably some problem with the default 5.0.6 kernel to report proper load average
00:40-!-sHellUx [~sHellUx@212-76-45-2.home.aster.pl] has quit [Quit: Wychodzi]
00:41<kcin8>it was giving me the right load avg but it was adding up 2.00

00:49<kcin8>btw can i use an old 2.6.32.8 kernel config file and load it on 2.6.35.7 ? without causing any problems or would it be best re-making the config from scratch ?
00:51<clocker>jordanm, nethogs gives applications as well as other network activity and that's what I was after.
00:51<clocker>Finally found an app for this!
00:52<jordanm>kcin8: I recall "make oldconfig" having an interactive thing for folding in changes to the config

What I need is something like throwing an exception in the signal handler for SIGFPE, but all my attempts to do this have failed. Do you know of any patches or flags that I can use to make cpu exceptions throw exceptions sim

11:41<shevin>I would be so exicted to see anythign but symbian on it
11:41<Gathond>even how to copy it over is likely to be non standard and depend on the hardware layout, e.g. where in the address space is the RAM, where is the rom, which time of rom chip is this
11:41<Gathond>etc
11:41<shevin>but I wonder what softtware I should use to upload the files

11:44<Gathond>if they have even bothered to make that accessible on the board

19:45-!-trifolio6 [~quassel@84.127.67.198.dyn.user.ono.com] has quit [Remote host closed the connection]
19:45<hachi>the debian startup scripts for it are in nfs-kernel-server
19:45<pipe>I only run it on lenny
19:45<hachi>yeah, I had it working on lenny-ish
19:45<pipe>(with no problems except the normal nfsd issues)
19:46<hachi>I upgraded in to squeeze because of the freeze
19:46<pipe>nice rhyming.
19:46<hachi>not intended :)
19:47<pipe>Unfortunately I don't have the strength to start up a couple of virtual machines to test it out
19:47<hachi>regardless though, I am having a very hard time debugging this because I can't find the kernel code that is supposed to make the rpc calls... as far as I can tell the squeeze kernel is not making rpc updates for some reason
19:47<hachi>no worries, I'm not here beause I expect /you/ to help
19:47<hachi>I'm here because I hope someone can :)
19:48<pipe>Generally I debug nfs problems with wireshark, but if you can't even reach portmap etc, maybe something deeper is wrong
19:48<hachi>nono, portmap is running
19:48<hachi>it lists things
19:49<hachi>I was using tcpdump
19:49<hachi>but that doesn't decode the rpc update frames
19:49<hachi>so I compiled in debugging to rpcbind... and as far as I can tell the kernel isn't sending the service updates out at all
