20:54<dpkg>BackTrack is not Debian and is not supported in #debian (ask me about <based on debian>). Try or #backtrack-linux on instead. BackTrack is a Linux distribution based on <Ubuntu> Intrepid (as of BackTrack 4), previously <SLAX>. Derived from merging two penetration-testing distributions: WHAX (formerly WHOPPIX) and Auditor Security Linux.
20:55<alvarezp>!based on debian
20:55<dpkg>Your distribution may be based on and have software in common with Debian, but it is not Debian. We don't know what changes were made by your distribution and it probably falls short of Debian's standards. #debian only supports Debian; you should respect our choice to volunteer here to help Debian users. Support other distributions is off-topic on #debian, even if your own distro's channel is clueless or non-existent.

23:24<rainfly_x>It's possible that you have correctly configured it but you need to restart the network
23:24<nil_>Hi.I've configured just everything right, but it doesn't let the second PC avigate
23:25<rainfly_x>You can do this by restarting your computer, but there's a command line something that's a bit less drastic
23:25<rainfly_x>I can't remember what it was though
23:25<nil_>My network was restarted
23:25<rainfly_x>OK, then it wasn't that.

23:26<jordanm>easthero: I would say no
23:27<jordanm>its probably a patch that RHEL applies
23:27<rainfly_x>How are your PCs physically connected with cables, what is your cable setup
23:27<jordanm>seperate from upstream
23:27<nil_>My first PC is Debian lenny 5.0 and the second is win7
