04:50<albin>I do however get a lot of lintian warnings, and one error. The warnings are to be due to racket placing a lot of image files (!) in /usr/lib/, and I haven't found any configure flags to correct that, and the error is due to the menu icon being too large.
04:51<albin>However, there's only one icon supplied by racket! How should I solve this? Scale it down during the package build with convert?

17:40<stygian>?
17:40<PovAddict>maybe the problem with X is simply that it's currently configured to use the onboard ATI, and I don't *have* an onboard ATI anymore, so it's a single-line change

17:58<stygian>not for newer ones? ok, i'll have to keep that in mind when i build my next system

20:16<mattcen>PovAddict: you can set a blank password for root and configure it (if this isn't already the default) to only allow login without a password on a secure terminal
