00:00<sumpter>this should help me out
00:00<sumpter>since its designed for what im running
00:01<ml|>sumpter: ubuntu is not supported here so you know
00:02<ml|>and ubuntu is not debian, it is _based_ on debian; so that might work it might not on a debian system
00:02<sumpter>i like debian better, but i just can't seem to get it on my cell, so ill have to use ubuntu. *sigh* lol
00:02<ml|>understood good luck

09:55<ryanakca>metaspike: Aha, found the problem. I can't run two X sessions each with a different driver. I was trying to run one with the intel driver, then switched 'intel' to 'vesa' in my xorg.conf, and wanted to start another X session using vesa (I'm trying to debug a possible bug in the intel driver and don't want to have to start and stop X endlessly to switch between drivers). Trying to start the two gives "vesa: Ignoring device with a bound kernel driver"
09:57<ryanakca>metaspike: I'm guessing there's no way to accomplish what I want to do?
09:59<metaspike>ryanakca: read or just try "xrandr --auto" you might want to mv xorg.conf first mind so it can be regenerated.

22:29<fix>one cheap way to do that
22:29<fix>install webmin, and go to the startup options
22:30<fix>but apt-get install openssh-server should just automatically take care of the startup bit
22:30<fix>hes gone w/e
22:31<dpkg>Webmin is a lame web-based interface for unsafe system administration for Unix. Check it out at Remember, dondelelcaro *hates* webmin. "i'd rather sit on the floor shoving table knives into live electrical outlets than run webmin on an exposed server." Removed from Debian post-Sarge, see . The Debian package from is of poor quality.
