01:38<btn>stderr_dk: thanks for trying. It's strange that /proc/cpuinfo doesn't show a clock speed either. The only thing I can think of is that they are being presented as a single CPU. Do you know if there is anyway I can tell what the clock speed is apart from /proc/cpuinfo?

If you want remove all packages use 'deborphan | xargs apt-get -y remove --purge', or a nice tool to clean up grown debians. http://deb.li/3qpqF provides a nice guide to several more steps to reclaim big chunks of HDD. 21:00<RandomIdiot>Hi. I did a stupid stupid thing and I don't know how to fix it. I ran my computer via tails, all good. Then I tried to "Power Off". It was all fine until it was time to turn off LVM. Then a message said many things but ended in reoccuring "ata2 softreset failed (1st FIS failed)" . It said this over and over and over again for a minute until I decided I had enough and hardresetted it. This proved to be the most idiotic thing to

23:25<nathan-mint>OK, did some more digging on this transcoding issue. Apparently, transcoding on the GPU is fairly unhelpful, the real culprit was the fact that I was transcoding to mp4, which is "just slow" no matter what.
