03:59<ludinator>is there a way to automatical patch packages from apt. If I want to customize a package, I apt-get source the package, patch it, build it and install it. this patch is lost at the next upgrade. inb4 hold is not the options im looking for.

After that Iceweasel created a new profile directory in .mozilla/firefox alongside the existing one. I now have two firefox profiles in the .mozilla/firefox directory: 9t69hg96.default and 0y70r04.iceweasel. One for Firefox and one for Iceweasel.

13:16<somiaj>yactroll: xorg tries to autodetect things, if it doens't autodetect what you want you can either use a script that runs xrandr with the correct settings when you log into your session, or configure an xorg.conf file (you just need the lines that tell your xserver what you want your default resolution to be)
