05:04<gandalf_>Hi guys! I've a question for you: I'm trying to connect via ftp from my vm (Debian Wheezy 7.5.0 amd64) to my laptop (MacBook Pro, OSX Mavericks 10.9.2, ftpd server running on port 21), I issue this command to connect to the ftp server "ftp 192.168.1.75" I give the required credentials but when I try the "ls" command to list the server directory content, all i got is this: "500 Illegal PORT command rejected ftp:
05:04<gandalf_>bind: Address already in use"
05:05<gandalf_>Thank you for your time!
05:05<jm_>try using passive mode instead
05:05<jm_>or if you are using that switch to active mode
05:06<gandalf_>Ok, thank you for the suggestion

05:09<jm_>for that I would recommend to start using a different ftp client, say lftp
05:09<gandalf_>Oh, I also forgot to mention that I have a CubieBoard (ARM based) with Cubian installed (a Debian derivate) and when i connect to the same server it works out of the box, how can this be possible? It is a different ftp client?
05:09<gandalf_>Oh ok..
05:09<jm_>it's more likely an issue on the server/ftp server config

15:53<jonadab>Guest10051: Yes, to get options for longer periods of time, you have to upgrade to an older version of Gnome, or replace gnome-screensaver e.g. with xscreensaver.
15:53<babilen>sosico: You could cancel that, and add "set -x" to /var/lib/dpkg/info/console-setup.postinst after the "set -e" in there and then run "dpkg -a --configure" to run it again. Another thing to maybe try first is to attach with "strace -p 520" to the currently running process to see what it is doing. Did you run out of space during the upgrade (for example) ?

17:47<jim_>ie, http://ambergers.name returns
17:47<jim_>the default site
17:47<jim_>but http://ambergers.name/whatever is handled by the app
17:48<jim_>antoher url, http://28and11.com, has the exact same VirtualHost stanza and works fine
