03:38<mentor>himanshu: Because it's a dictionary word with a few substitutions
03:39<xiqy>id you use sl3dgeHammer as your email password too?
03:39<xiqy>Then consider it a lesson learned; don't use weak passwords, and _never_ use the same password twice.
03:39<mentor>himanshu: Making a few substitutions should really not be considered sufficient strengthening of a password against a dictionary attack

11:38<dpkg>If you have a question, just ask! For example: "I have a problem with ___; I'm running Debian version ___. When I try to do ___ I get the following output ___. I expected it to do ___." Don't ask if you can ask, if anyone uses it, or pick one person to ask. We're all volunteers; make it easy for us to help you. If you don't get an answer try a few hours later or on debian-user@lists.debian.org. See <smart questions><errors>.

16:01<zub>Hi. I'm trying to set up readonly root with jessie. https://wiki.debian.org/ReadonlyRoot seems to be a bit out of date. With systemd, debian-fixup.service fails with "ln: failed to create symbolic link". I think it's because /var is not mounted yet at the moment the debian fixup service is run.
16:02<zub>If I run the service manually after I log in it works OK.
16:02<somiaj>zub: you should be asking in #debian-next for jessie support and it could be you found a bug that needs reporting.
16:03<zub>thanks && sorry for wrong place
16:03<somiaj>sounds like the service debian-fixup.service needs to depend on things being mounted first.

19:25<Internat>hi guys.. random question.. with respect to ext3 and fsck.. what is an orphaned inode? im getting a whole lot "Inode 3801052 was part of the orphaned inode list. FIXED."
19:26<somiaj>nox_debian: sounds like it uses system config options instead of userconfig, to me the fluxbox startup options is the better way to go.
19:26<william1>somiaj: is that chromium-browser?
19:26<somiaj>william1: no it is google-chrome. It is not provided by debian and you need to get it from google
19:27<awal>fbautostart is more is more interesting if you run fluxbox alongside a dm, nox-debian
19:27<somiaj>william1: chromium-browser is the old package name for the chromium browser as there use to be some other applicaiton/game called chromium which is also no longer in debian
19:27<nox_debian>seee you tomorrow
19:27<somiaj>william1: in wheezy chromium-browser is just a transitional package to move to tw name of chromium since the old application of that name was removed.

19:29<awal>chromium
19:30<somiaj>I never used it, but yes I think it was a game but not positive
19:30<somiaj>now it doesn't matter anymore, just chromium-browers is sitting around as a transitional package, and won't be in jessie
