21:36<stelicho>hi all so I have a Huion H420 drawing tablet and I can't use the digimend drivers because they require 3.5 Kernel and I'm on stable. The device is visable in dmesg and I'm trying to run it into virtualbox but can't because it doesn't show up. What are some things I can do to connect the device in the debian host so that it can pass it along to guests?
21:37<ottah>So you need to the virtualbox extension pack installed, and your user needs to be a member of vboxusers
21:39<stelicho>I got both of those down, also it doesn't even work as a pointer in the host debian system but it does in Fedora, which has the digimend built in
21:39<ottah>You can also get the 3.12 kernel by installing it from wheezy-backports
21:40<stelicho>wont that break my system?

21:47<awal>stelicho, if you did things like described here your vbox should run just fine
21:49<awal>also you may want to try kvm. it's faster :) It's well integrated in debian and no extra modules are needed
