Also when I reboot/shutdown, I am asked for the Super User Password - tried "root" + many other guesses,
17:28<beagleburt>but no good - I finally have to hold the power-button down until the machine crashes???
17:29<beagleburt>Mukyu, any ideas?

17:34<Mukyu>okay I don't know anything about gsettings... can you confirm that the problem is specific to nautilus?
17:35<Mukyu>I would try this
17:35<Mukyu>go into the terminal and run "sudo su"
17:35<Mukyu>I think the root password is not set by default
17:35<beagleburt>Mukyu, yes I see the "Live" icon in Nautilus ~Desktop but I cannot copy it to the GUI-Desktop
17:36<Mukyu>you should be able to run "passwd root" or "passwd live" as root to set up the passwords
17:36<Mukyu>"sudo su" will let you get root privileges in the terminal
17:36<Mukyu>the "live" user password is supposed to be "live" by default, apparently

17:38<Mukyu>it would probably be /home/live/Desktop/

22:45<P-G>The xorg.conf I generated mentioned details about both cards and all the monitors, including the ones that aren't currently working, but I can't make sense of it.
22:45<twb>somiaj: it gets built into live SOEs

23:53<P-G>So before no monitors on the second card were working. I recently configured xorg.conf to use nouveau for all monitors, which did appear in the xorg.conf for some reason, and that's when the two new monitors started turning on.

23:56<P-G>I'm trying that change next unless you have a better idea.
