01:56<emerald>There is an issue with the fs-uae package, as well as the associated arcade, launcher and netplay-server packages. The emu requires either nonfree kickstart ROMs from a real Amiga, so they would probably be better off in contrib in the future.

03:38<twb>urgh no configure.ac
03:39<twb>urgh ./configure is some random python thing
03:40<jm_>twb yeah but build logs for i386 show it built
03:40<twb>the upstream ./configure script doesn't do a versioned check for openssl at all AFAICT, so I would randomly guess it's assuming a newer version of openssl than debian/controls Build-Depends is asserting
03:41<twb>jm_: but buildd uses sid not jessie, so it'll be using openssl 1.0.2d not 1.0.1e
03:41<twb>*not 1.0.1k

05:01<twb>As a sysadmin, "systemctl mask frobozz" will create /etc/systemd/system/frobozz.service -> /dev/null. If that file exists already, it will fail. It will not fail if you typo frobozz
05:02<twb>"masking" will prevent automatic *and* manual starting of the service. "disable" simply runs the [Install] stanza in reverse, which mostly means deleting .../system/foo.target.wants/frobozz.service -> .../system/frobozz.service

08:02<pintinho>Lo. I installed nvidia drivers as it was explained on the wiki debian page. After i made the xconfig X dont start. I can only start if i delete the 20-xorg.conf and create an empty /etc/X11/xorg.conf. Any ideia how can i can put things like they were. The nvidia driver that came with Debian worked.
08:03<jm_>reiko1: see the syntax in the example where it uses C-A-x so C-A-t

09:25<dpkg>stable-backports has packages from packages the current 'testing' release; you can upgrade from stable+backports to testing (or oldstable+backports to stable). Packages that were backported from 'testing' to 'oldstable' are in oldstable-backports-sloppy; if you use these packages, then you can upgrade from oldstable+backports+backports-sloppy to stable+backports. Sloppy means "relaxed rules" not "crap packages".
09:26<bock>aaah
09:26<bock>so backports: upgrade to next version and backports-sloppy: upgrade to next version + backports
09:27<bock>If I had known that from the beginning - would have saved me one reinstall ;)
09:27<themill>yes; that's a function of the distance between the target suite and the origin of the packages
