18:00<mobbi>Hello, I have a question about Virtualbox. I'm using Debian Jessie (Linux 3.16.04-amd64) and I have installed Vistualbox 4.3.32. When I check packages for VistualBox - it seems they are for 64bit machines but when I try to run 64 bit disks - it says that I need to put 32 bit. I have tried re-installing but I have the same issue. Can you help? Thanks.

23:43<dpkg>First, check for a backport on <debian-backports>. If unavailable: 1) Add a deb-src line for sid (not a deb line!); ask me about <deb-src sid> 2) enable debian-backports (see <bdo>) 3) aptitude update; aptitude install build-essential; aptitude build-dep packagename; apt-get -b source packagename; 4) install the resultant debs. To change compilation options, see <package recompile>; for versions newer than sid see <uupdate>.
23:44<Arcade>why PovAddict ?
23:44<PovAddict>Arcade: you can't just download the .deb from testing, it depends on a newer libstdc++6, and upgrading libstdc++6 will require you to upgrade 80% of your system to testing
