04:28<Egon>Hi, can someone help me with boot graphics problem on fresh install? I tried asking yesterday with no luck. This vid shows what is my problem. Basically everything is scrambled on screen https://www.dropbox.com/s/yx7vknifumz3h0v/MOV_0233.mp4?dl=0

04:28<jm_>ahh it's in changelog.gz - +b2 is Rebuild against perlapi-5.22.1.
04:29<duclicsic>Egon: you'll have to give more details. What graphics hardware does the machine have? Have you installed the appropriate driver for it? etc etc..
04:30<twb>duclicsic: in grub, press e and find the word "splash" and remove it
04:30<Egon>Well I havent been able to even log in. I have AMD APU. Graphical install worked fine with no problems
04:30<duclicsic>twb: was that for Egon ?
04:31<twb>oops
04:31<grove>twb Do you have a suggestion that works without having apt sources for stretch/sid configured?
04:31<twb>grove: =<version> works doesn't it?
04:31<twb>Oops, I tested on a host with sid enabled
04:32<Egon>But yeah it is fresh install on my computer. Also I use EFI since that matters I hear
04:32<jm_>also do you have firmware-linux-nonfree for amd apu? does it even need that?
04:33<Egon>I don't know. Probably not since I havent been able to install anything. Everything is like standard install leaves it
04:34<jm_>I'd try that and a newer kernel just in case

16:28<fredl>it would seem exim4 doesn't work anymore among others, I try dpkg-reconfigure exim4-config, it asks me the questions with defaults my old values so I keep pressing enter, after that it simply seems to hang
16:29<Elv13>Hello. I tried to install gitlab-ce from their repository. However, it hang DPKG (deadlock?) and I have to kill it. Now, I can't use apt anymore as it always try to fix itself by finishing the installation. I tried dpkg --remove, it says to finish the install first because the package is in "a bad inconsistent state". However, I can't, as it will daelock again
16:29<fredl>in /var/log/exim/mainlog I see repeated:
16:30<fredl>2016-06-16 22:28:55 Warning: purging the environment.
