02:47<dpkg>plasma-widget-lancelot is not in testing for the reasons listed in http://release.debian.org/migration/testing.pl?package=plasma-widget-lancelot
02:47<jm_>looks like this URL no longer works

02:53-!-shunzero [~quassel@37.18.240.108] has joined #debian
02:54<Maria>@jm_ where did you find this info? The link isn't working as you said and removing the query after the "?" doesn't give a search possibility either
02:55<jm_>Maria: I am not sure I understand your question, btw, PTS link points at this source package https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/kdeplasma-addons
02:55<jm_>Maria: that was the URL that worked even not so long ago

02:59<jm_>ahh it stopped working https://release.debian.org/migration/
03:00<jm_>but that package is not on the list
03:03<Maria>what I meant is, that the promoted site for information about packages is e.g. https://packages.debian.org/sid/plasma-widget-lancelot as it is already implemented as a search engine
03:03<Maria>But there I don't find information about why a package is not in e.g. testing
03:04<jm_>yeah that link can't be found there, it was always separate info
03:04-!-twb [~twb@203.7.155.119] has joined #debian
03:04<Maria>and I don't really understand the PTS link you gave me
03:04<twb>Why does sshd_config default to PermitRootLogin=prohibit-password, when the manpage says PermitLogin=without-password ?

03:07-!-srtu [~hypnotoad@mue-88-130-48-008.dsl.tropolys.de] has joined #debian
03:08<jm_>twb: there's some info about that in /usr/share/doc/openssh-client/README.Debian.gz so check if that answers your question
03:08<twb>k
03:08<jm_>hmm that says the same thing as the man page
03:09<twb>Hrm, that says they're synonymous
03:09<Maria>jm_ How does the PTS page tell me why a package is not included?
03:09<twb>Oops, this should be in #d-next
03:09<twb>Forgot what computer I was editing
03:10<jm_>Maria: it doesn't tell you directly, for testing better ask in #debian-next and then there's #debian-kde
03:10<twb>All fine now
03:13<Maria>thanks jm_ I did'nt know about debian_next I'll have look there (although it is not exactly about this package or testing I rather try to understand how I can find this info)

I've also found more "hackerish" ways (see http://reboot.pro/topic/14547-linux-load-your-root-partition-to-ram-and-boot-it/) but I'm surprised it's not that common and only possible by tinkering...

07:01<kloner2>i tried testdisk, it did not show LUKS partition. Then I searched for LUKS magic header with grep, it showed

07:01<pabs>using losetup to create a fake device representing the partition might be simpler than messing with headers

23:51<UniqueUser28>That is what I am afraid of but my Android app gives a lot of the same settings options and it seems to work fine... I also managed to connect with Thunderbird on my previous system.
23:53<UniqueUser28>The server, SSL method, username, password, IMAP auth method, and port should be the only possible problems, right?
23:54<danielsh>yes
23:55<danielsh>perhaps firewalls blocking outbound connections to the relevant ports
23:55<UniqueUser28>Good thought, but that shouldn't be a problem here. :(
23:56<UniqueUser28>Passwords are correct. I've tried username and username@domain formats. SSL seems to be working so I suspect it's a problem with IMAP auth, but that's set to auto on both Sylpheed and my mobile app.
23:57<UniqueUser28>CRAM-MD5 didn't work. Guess I'll try plain text.
23:59<danielsh>plain text is fine if you use ssl
23:59<UniqueUser28>Ok, that's good to know. PLAIN and LOGIN methods don't seem to work either though.
23:59<UniqueUser28>Here's the log: http://pastebin.com/RqeXCJ5p
23:59<danielsh>that's odd..
