06:17<__ln__>does anyone know of a firewall/router device (aimed at small companies) that could take advantage of more than one static, public wan ip?
06:17<Xaroth|Work>Draytek has a few
06:17<Xaroth|Work>even with dual interfaces
06:17<Xaroth|Work>we use one in the office here
06:17<Xaroth|Work>2 adsl connections, save us from bad connections
06:18<__ln__>can it take advantage of e.g. five public ips?
06:18<SpComb>__ln__: you mean as a NAT pool?
06:18<SpComb>I've heard good things about the ubnt edgemax, if you're prepared to use the cli to config it
06:18<__ln__>SpComb: yes, preferably something like 1:1 NAT for computers A,B,C,D, and the last ip could be used for all the rest.
06:19<SpComb>no idea about your specific reqs
06:19<SpComb>__ln__: OpenWRT if nothing else; if you're prepared to get dirty on the cli
06:20<__ln__>i'm not even sure how specific my reqs are, but i'm a bit frustrated about how difficult it is to do something useful with so many ips through one device.
06:25<Xaroth|Work>__ln__: iirc one of our customers has an IP pool on their draytek
06:25<Xaroth|Work>not sure how they have it configured though
06:35<__ln__>Xaroth|Work & SpComb: thanks, i'll look at DrayTek and Edgemax.

12:27<Miauw>How do I pop up the console?
12:28<Eddi|zuHause>key above tab
12:28<Miauw>Thanks
12:29<Miauw>Had to delete AdmiralAI
12:29<Miauw>Because I forgot to switch it off properly
12:38<Miauw>What the fuck
12:39<Miauw>Something is making implicit orders in my order list that shouldn't be there
12:39<Eddi|zuHause>implicit orders appear when you don't have "non stop" set
12:39<Eddi|zuHause>it automatically logs all stations the train stops at
12:40<Miauw>Oh, I see
12:41<Eddi|zuHause>they have no effect on where the train actually goes, it just records where it has been
12:41<Eddi|zuHause>this data is used for cargodist, to know where people can go
12:41<Miauw>Yeah
12:42<Miauw>I was getting weird links
12:42<Eddi|zuHause>otherwise it just sits there lookng pretty
12:42<Miauw>I've set up a passenger line
12:42<Miauw>And I want it to be pretty and line-ish
12:42<Miauw>None of this branching stuff
12:42<Eddi|zuHause>if you rely on implicit orders for cargodist, you should avoid sending to depot randomly
12:43<Eddi|zuHause>i.e. use explciit depot orders
12:43<Eddi|zuHause>otherwise trains skip stations while searching for a depot, and this messes everything up

12:44<Miauw>Marking them all myself
12:48<Eddi|zuHause>then use non-stop orders
12:49<Eddi|zuHause>(you can set non-stop as default)

13:36<Miauw>Ugh, all my busses are clustered togheter. Is there any good way to advoid that?
13:38<Zuu>It requires some effort, but time tables can help with that.
13:39<Zuu>Use autofill and then add extra time to the stops so that buses that run late can recover.
13:39<Zuu>Ctrl+click on set start time to distribute the start times for all vehicles.

15:07<Miauw>i am
15:08<andythenorth>of course, FLHerne maybe just be a sock puppet
15:08<@Belugas>andy, i would lie if I say i do :(
15:09<@Belugas>my guitare playing and family is taking way too much time
15:09*FLHerne is definitely not a sock-puppet. No, no, definitely not, those stiches over there are a trick of the light...
15:09<Eddi|zuHause>next thing you say is you've been in Bielefeld
15:10*andythenorth is a sock puppet
15:10*andythenorth is a snot monster
15:11<@Belugas>ive tried the android OpenTTD, andy, and honestly... it sucks

15:12<@Belugas>these days, im monre on my tablet than any other machine, apart my work machine, of course of course
15:12<Xaroth|Work>controlling a mouse -that- small is annoying

15:22<andythenorth>also how do you play a game without Squid or FISH :O
15:22<FLHerne>o/c, with mine I've got stuck at a point where it's "finished" enough to play with, but not to dump on an unwary public, so I'm too lazy to finish it :-/
15:23<andythenorth>the 'problem' is that I have really nice graphics from two main contributors, which don't match :)
15:23<FLHerne>andythenorth: Well, NewShips is okay, but yours are still better than everything else put together

15:24<andythenorth>looking down a buy menu that is a hotch potch is ugly
15:25<FLHerne>FIRS, NewShips, Sailing Ships and WSF already fail to match rather well

15:25<FLHerne>I doubt SQUID not matching itself would really change that
