05:58<V453000>MOAR.
05:58<Wolf01>but only 2, ok?

07:12<Samu>what's the difference between int and uint
07:15<Samu>nevermind, uint it is
07:21<Samu>max returns the max of 2 values, but I have 15 values
07:21<Samu>i want to return the max of 15 values
07:23<Wolf01>max_element() but you need to study how it works
07:37-!-Nijske [~oftc-webi@ip-213-49-95-33.dsl.scarlet.be] has joined #openttd
07:37<Nijske>hi guys who can help me ?
07:38<Nijske>i wont to play multiplayer whitmy brother but he can noy find my server
07:41<Wolf01>same network?
07:42<Nijske>no
07:43<Wolf01>you might need to forward the ports on the router
07:44<Nijske>ow ok
07:58<Wolf01>V453000, do you know if the exoskeleton speed stacks? I'm wondering if I could run aside a train :P
08:04<Alkel_U3>it does
08:05<Alkel_U3>I normaly use 4 to 5 at once
08:06<Alkel_U3>although that requires 2 fusion generators for sustained operation
08:07<Wolf01>np, I already have 2 fusion generators
08:08<Wolf01>2 energy shield mk2 and 2 personal roboports

08:09-!-orudge` is now known as orudge
08:11<Alkel_U3>I found out the hard way why it's a good idea to have batteries even with the generators. Went to clear a nest with plenty of shields and exoskeletons, spitters tore half of my shield up, I wanted to quickly retreat. Well, too bad, the exos aren't working, shields have to charge up first :P
08:12<Wolf01>good advice, thank you
08:13<Wolf01>I usually spawn laser turrets with the blueprints near the nests and gradually advance
08:13<Alkel_U3>yeah, but that's kinda boring :D
08:13-!-Compu [~Compu@cpe-67-241-224-121.stny.res.rr.com] has joined #openttd
08:14<Alkel_U3>combat shotgun + piercing shells hit&run with armour mk.II shreds everything
08:14<Wolf01>I don't even use grenades or combat robots, too much work, and the personal laser defence is too weak
08:15<Alkel_U3>once I got overwhelmed, ran out of ammo and capsules, whole hell on my tail. So I led them onto train tracks :3
08:16<Wolf01>classic :D
08:16<Alkel_U3>I found the robots extremely effective, especially the destroyers
08:17<Wolf01>they are throw and waste, I would have liked a companion kind which works like the construction ones
08:17-!-MonkeyDronez [~Monkey@82.194.53.202] has quit [Quit: Leaving]
08:18<Alkel_U3>well, it's not really that much trouble setting up a large factory just for capsule production in the lategame
08:18<Wolf01>the problem is to launch the capules
08:19<Alkel_U3>you can launch while shooting. But, yyeah, launching 100+ destroyers is kinda tedious :-)
08:19<Wolf01>I don't have enough spare slots and I'm not going to install a mod for the toolbelt, I already have troubles finding what I want with 2 rows :P
08:21-!-AdmiralKew [~pcc31@119.94.111.243] has quit [Ping timeout: 480 seconds]
08:22<Alkel_U3>hm, something like a weapon just for rapid launching of capsules would be handy
08:24<Alkel_U3>so the capsules would fit into ammo slot. Or an armour module which deploys them automaticaly in vicinity of enemies. I wonder if that's doable with a mod
08:25<Samu>I'm doing something wrong, need advice https://paste.openttdcoop.org/pmshshhud
08:26<Samu>line 4 is probably doing it wrong
08:27<Samu>i'm trying to reuse the cid_width calculated for the previous cycle
08:27<Samu>from* the previous for cycle
08:28<Wolf01>is cid_width defined somewhere else? what's that "uint width" for?
08:29<Samu>uint cid_width; ///< Width of Company # string.
08:30-!-Snail [~jacopocol@cpe-98-14-130-227.nyc.res.rr.com] has joined #openttd
08:30<Samu>it's without any value by default
08:30<Samu>uint width - I don't know
08:30<Wolf01>so, why one is uint and the other one is StringID?
08:32<Samu>uint is the distance
08:32<Samu>stringID is the string text itself

08:32<Samu>I got 15 strings
08:33<Wolf01>I'm asking because what I read doesn't mean anything, its a mix of things with no meaning

08:39<Samu>i could copy paste the whole function, but it's giant

09:00<Samu>I used 15 strings, maybe it's possible to use this with just 1 string and use a parameter to set the # inside the string
09:15<@peter1138>Yikes :p
09:16<Samu>hmm :(
09:20<Wolf01>mmh, I should reactivate windows, but I think I'll wait for the new motherboard, I don't know how many times I could reactivate it
