18:22<PovAddict:#uml>hi
18:23<PovAddict:#uml>I'm trying uml for the first time
18:23<PovAddict:#uml>I created an empty 1GB file, created an ext3 filesystem in it, loop-mounted it, and debootstrap'd debian testing in it
18:24<PovAddict:#uml>when I try to boot uml with it, I get this: http://paste.debian.net/153515/
18:24<PovAddict:#uml>after the last "Using makefile-style concurrent boot in runlevel 2." it doesn't do anything else, it just gets stuck there
18:24<PovAddict:#uml>oh while I was typing that, it printed some more
18:25<PovAddict:#uml>http://paste.debian.net/153517/
18:36<PovAddict:#uml>I don't even have boot logs
18:37<PovAddict:#uml>/var/log/dmesg, /var/log/faillog, etc. are all zero-filled because the system couldn't sync filesystem when I killed uml

20:55-!-hfb [~hfb@pool-96-247-114-143.lsanca.dsl-w.verizon.net] has quit [Quit: Leaving]

23:18<PovAddict:#uml>I got uml to work
23:18<PovAddict:#uml>now I'm wondering why it forks so much
23:21<PovAddict:#uml>ah I see, every userspace process in the guest is mapped to a userspace linux.uml process in the host
