03:21<fanto666>Hello, under what conditions are patches to packages added to security updates? I submitted bug with a patch for iceape, but it was not added to latest security update. does it have to be security bug so it gets applied? bug #648407
03:25<chealer>fanto666: if a maintainer considers it fixes a security problem. it has to be a security bug indeed.

03:30<chealer>fanto666: well, no, by definition, a *security* update addresses security problems
03:30<fanto666>yes, but when a security update appears, can it fis non-security bugs? provided the fix is really simple and really closes bug that annoys me?
