09:50<jepler>Hi. Because of reasons, we need to keep wheezy running in some chroots. The problem I'm having is, some packages in archive.debian.org seem older than the final packages for wheezy. For instance, I have perl-base 5.14.2-21+deb7u6 but archive only has 5.14.2-21+deb7u3
09:50<jepler>is it an error with my sources.list or is archive.debian.org incomplete?
09:53<themill>are they packages that were updated in wheezy-lts?
09:53<jepler>ah, OK, that particular package is in security.debian.org.
09:53<jepler>I had removed it because of incorrect assumptions.
09:53<jepler>what will happen to http://security.debian.org/ wheezy/updates/main in may when LTS ends?
09:54<jepler>will it also migrate to archive, or will it be lost?
09:54<themill>http://archive.debian.org/debian-security/ exists
09:54<themill>I assume it will end up there.
09:55<jepler>OK, thanks. It looks like I have the correct sources.list and my process is up and running again.
09:56<petn-randall>jepler: Note that even wheezy-lts is out of support for over a year now, so it's not really supported anymore here, either. Time to upgrade! :)
09:56<themill>that too
09:58<Ganneff>yes, ill merge lts into archive too
09:58<jepler>petn-randall: I understand and agree, but because of reasons it is necessary for us to continue building software with the specific compilers that were packaged for wheezy. We have absolutely no network-facing services from wheezy, thank heavens.

18:35<Redhawk2021>ok, got better info now. same issue google chrome gives me. Certificate name mismatch

18:40<Redhawk2021>Hmm....
18:40<blast007>look at the subject name (which would be one of them) and Certificate Subject Alt Name (which would contain the rest)
18:40<Redhawk2021>ssl labs says it doesn't have them but I ran the cert bot again last night
18:41<Redhawk2021>yeah, alt subject doesnt have them
18:41<Redhawk2021>i'm going to run the certbot again to see if that'll fix it
18:41<localhorst>You need to reload nginx after replacing the certificate file.
18:42<blast007>redhawk is using haproxy
18:42<localhorst>Check if nginx points to the correct file. Check the file with openssl. Reload nginx. Check with `curl', not with Chrome.
18:43<localhorst>Oh, then probably the same but with haproxy.
18:43<localhorst>I thought I was in #nginx.
18:43<blast007>:)
18:44<localhorst>Chrome caches the old certificate for a while so curl or openssl may be more helpful.
