14:54<relidy>alexf: The output of, which Ranjeet shared a few minutes ago, shows the currently enabled sites and their configuration files.
14:54<alexf>well based on the logs he showed us, one of those vhosts is pointing to /var/www/html
14:55<alexf>so if it's not the one he just showed us, it's the other one.
14:55<relidy>Not disagreeing on that one. It's definitely not happy about a missing directory index.

14:56<Ranjeet>I am sorry for that
14:58<alexf>The question I asked did not require expert knowledge in Apache to answer properly. You have two vhost files. Your error log says that some site is unhappy about being told to look in /var/www/html. It's not the vhost you showed us. What about the other one?

15:16<alexf>No I kid, you don't have to answer that (but you should fix it). You're putting individual sites in separate vhost files, which is the debian-style convention. The RedHat convention, which CentOS obviously adheres to, keeps all vhosts in a single file. Either will work, but when using one convention you need to be wary of the other.
15:17<alexf>If you had followed Linode's guide for CentOS, you would have put your virtual host blocks in a single vhost.conf file:
15:17<Ranjeet>Yes I am putting one site in one vhost
15:17<alexf>Read that document and look for the line: Modify httpd.conf with your document root directory to point Apache to your site’s files.

15:39<millisa>Ranjeet: if you search the page, you will see the 'error_log' is set to use syslog
15:40<millisa>oscareubieda: some of the addons have costs - its usually at the bottom of each addon's page.
15:40<oscareubieda>I have a question about the transfer quota too
15:40-!-mode/#linode [+l 373] by ChanServ
15:40<mr_jota>Is there a outbound transfer limit?
15:40<Ranjeet>if i comment syslog than also log is not printing
15:40<Ranjeet>let me show u
15:40<millisa>mr_jota: the transfer listed on the pricing page is just for outbound. inbound is not counted against your quota

15:41<mr_jota>Ok, for outbound, for example, when the limit is reached it could stop to serve the page, not count as 0,000 cents per GB, ok? Is it possible?
15:42<millisa>Ranjeet: lets make a known broken php page and just troubleshoot that to start. create a file called 'broken.php' in that same place you created the phpinfo - just put: <PHP Iambroken into it. that should be enough that it will cause php to cause an error
15:42<millisa>Ranjeet: then we'll hunt down where that error was logged.
15:42<oscareubieda>I can buy additional hard disk space?
15:42<millisa>mr_jota: when you hit the quota, it does not stop serving, you just get billed for the overage.
15:42<Ranjeet>you can check now
15:42<Ranjeet>its now /var/log/php_errors.log

23:42<millisa>well, it looks like you have space available. the log entries you posted look like mongodb was shutting down.
23:43<Ankels>cant curl the localhost itself
23:43<Ankels>in the server

23:44<@caker>anything is possible .... at mongocom
23:44<millisa>that's odd. I saw a 'welcome to nginx' page load at your IP a few moments ago. it's not loading now.
23:44<mrosabal>@caker Is mongo still webscale?
23:45<Ankels>how i check?
23:46<millisa> and i just started getting a few pings back from your system
23:46<millisa>it's loading the nginx welcome page again
23:47<millisa>and it's stopped pinging
23:47<Ankels>this the applications running in the server

23:47<millisa>If you want to paste stuff, it'd probably be easier if you used bpaste or
23:48<millisa>I'm not sure if what you've got going on is mongodb specific since I'm seeing a whole minute of packet loss to your IP from a dallas linode, then, a half dozen pings get through, then it stops again
23:50<Ankels>Any solution?

23:52<Ankels>How i restart?
23:53<millisa>I don't see any packet loss to another IP in the same subnet you are in
