02:36<Sam67>Hey, I have some questions about the plans and wonder if you or anyone can help answer them.
02:37<@rgerke>Sure. Ask away.
02:37<Sam67>Thanks! Wondering if the Standard plans allow you to whitelabel and host independant company websites on them?
02:38<Sam67>Or if they come with WHMCS at all?
02:39-!-ANkush [~oftc-webi@] has quit [Remote host closed the connection]
02:39<@rgerke>When you sign up for a plan, it becomes your server. You can put whatever you want on it as long as it is in complaince with out terms of service. We're basically an infrastructure provider, so you can install WHCMS or any other software you desire.
02:40<@rgerke>It doesn't come with any of that, but you're welcome to use it on your Linode.
02:41<Sam67>Great, thanks! And is WHMCS offered by Linode or does it need to be sourced seperately?
02:42<nate>I believe the closest you get is just cPanel (not sure if it includes WHM w/ it) if you buy a managed service attached to a linode
02:43<Sam67>ahh gotcha, okay that helps. Thanks people! Bare server with OS, got it now.
02:43<@rgerke>Yeah, the CPanel you get with Managed does come with WHM
02:44<Sam67>Great, that's a good option to know about.
02:44<Sam67>Perfect, cheers!

07:42<Zr40>ha, looks like the dedicated Linodes start to be cheaper per core than standard Linodes for plans with 8 or more cores, and much cheaper for 32 cores
07:42<Zr40>they may be a good choice if the workload isn't bound by RAM, storage or transfer limits

22:36<primitiv>hola, is there a certain way I can log all emails sent by pear mail php?
22:36<primitiv>if not, I was thinking of inserting all email information prior to sending it, as knowiong if they actually opened / read / the email delivered is another problem on it's own
22:37<primitiv>so icould just keep their email and the email content and a timestamp in a table
22:37<primitiv>andcall it a day
22:37<primitiv>but I'm sure there must be a more robust method
22:39<millisa>sendy + amazon ses?
22:39<millisa>or mailgun, or one of the other providers that specializes in sending mail, tracking unsubs, and that sorta thing
22:39<@rgerke>I am not an e-mail expert so I don't want to give you the wrong path here. This is a really good question for our Community Site.
22:39<primitiv>i use mailgun as smtp provider
22:40<primitiv>but ideally I'd like to see this info within my app
22:40<@rgerke>Or for millisa
22:41<millisa>there's an api that you can poll that data
22:41<primitiv>unfortunately not everybody uses mailgun, therefor i do not want to focus on a single provider if possible
22:41<primitiv>but yes ideally they do have all info and much much more i agree 100%
22:43<primitiv>the table idea might just be the best option...
