11:38<TrueBrain>No, that is not possible yet, but an excellent suggestion (available date). Mind making a ticket out of it? :D
11:38<supermop_Home>ok
11:38<TrueBrain>Which economy other than Steeltown would you like?
11:38<TrueBrain>I can see if I van export it
11:38<TrueBrain>Well, dinner first :D
11:38<supermop_Home>something with a farm in it? probaby tropic or hot country
11:39<TrueBrain>I will see what I can do, probably next weekend :)
11:39<supermop_Home>no worries
11:43<supermop_Home>other pony wishes would be foundations, fields, and maybe restrict terrain type? (snowline/desert/rainforest/coast)
11:43<supermop_Home>but that seems too complicated

13:58<dale>_dp_: ripgrep has -e PATTERN so you can do 'rg file1 file2... -e bar' to look for bar, then just up arrow. I'd be ag has similar. (PSA: I think ripgrep is probably better than ag these days.) If you're using a shell based on readline, like Bash, you can probably hit alt-. (alt period) to copy the last argument of the last command to your current command, so type "grep new_pattern
13:58<dale>" then press M-. to copy the last arg of the last command. Works when you have exactly one directory to search. alt-. repeatedly cycles backwards over command history.
14:04<TrueBrain>lol .. I have the suspicion the old master-server is dead :P
14:04<TrueBrain>there are only 12.0+ servers online :D
14:04<frosch123>oh right, i saw some reddit complaints about 11.x multiplayer not working, but forgot again :)
14:05<TrueBrain>I wonder why it stopped working ..
14:05<TrueBrain>seems related to the latest dependency bump
14:05<TrueBrain>but nothing in there worries me, not even a bit :P
14:06<frosch123>reddit complaint is from last week 2022-01-05
14:06<TrueBrain>lines up
14:07<TrueBrain>ah, lol
14:09<@DorpsGek>[OpenTTD/master-server] TrueBrain opened pull request #56: Fix: main eventloop is not running while webserver is https://github.com/OpenTTD/master-server/pull/56
14:10<TrueBrain>I did check all applications for this, but .. this had it in a different location :D
14:10<frosch123>ok, i was about to ask why the rest works :p
14:11<LordAro>oops
14:12<@DorpsGek>[OpenTTD/master-server] frosch123 approved pull request #56: Fix: main eventloop is not running while webserver is https://github.com/OpenTTD/master-server/pull/56#pullrequestreview-850903660
14:12<@DorpsGek>[OpenTTD/master-server] TrueBrain merged pull request #56: Fix: main eventloop is not running while webserver is https://github.com/OpenTTD/master-server/pull/56
14:13<@DorpsGek>[OpenTTD/master-server] TrueBrain created new tag: 1.2.11 https://github.com/OpenTTD/master-server/releases/tag/1.2.11
14:13<TrueBrain>at least it shows how little it hinders people :P
14:14<frosch123>oi, i just noticed the "GS" icon on the website for the first time
14:14<frosch123>all the goal servers run GS apparently
14:22<frosch123>1.8 client works again :)
14:22<TrueBrain>I love how resilient OpenTTD really is .. within seconds old servers were back :P
14:22<TrueBrain>including the 1.3.0
14:22<TrueBrain>I missed it
14:23<frosch123>there are still a lot of servers which are offline or something weird
14:23<TrueBrain>where?
14:24<frosch123>in the 1.8 client, the list contains a lot of entries which are just an ipv4 or ipv6 address
14:24<frosch123>0/0 clients, january 0, all empty
14:25<TrueBrain>now that is odd
14:25<TrueBrain>especially as the master-server only sends the IP over to the client
14:25<TrueBrain>I wonder if the 12.1 servers are responding incorrectly?
14:26<frosch123>hmm, i can't compare them to the 12.x servers, 12.x only shows invite codes :p
14:26<TrueBrain>given by the size of the list
14:26<TrueBrain>I would consider it likely
14:27<frosch123>but they must be some goal server, because there are tons of servers running on the same ip with different ports
14:27<TrueBrain>weird thing is, 12.0 doesn't reply to UDP
14:27<TrueBrain>so I wonder if this isn't just a really old bug of sorts
14:27<TrueBrain>where if the server is listed, but fails to reply to UDP, you get to see it like this?
14:27<TrueBrain>I dunno :P
14:28<frosch123>well, other servers are listed as "server offline"
14:28<frosch123>so there is a difference between "not responding" and "all zero"
14:28<frosch123>maybe the goal server people reimplemented the udp stuff to keep their custom stuff running
14:28<TrueBrain>it is way more than just a few servers
14:28<TrueBrain>my list is full of them
14:29<frosch123>yes, 80% :)
14:29<TrueBrain>not that many servers would run a goal server :P
14:29<frosch123>dbg: [misc] String too long for destination buffer <- i get a lot of these
14:30<TrueBrain>I have to admit I can't really be bothered really looking into this :P
14:32<frosch123>let's see whether anyone starts playing on those servers again
14:32<frosch123>currenlty there is only one dedicated server with 1 client
14:33<frosch123>and two non-dedicated in "single player"
14:33<frosch123>maybe people are used to google services being discontinued
14:34<frosch123>it was even on the end of a year :p

14:52<_dp_>offline/all zeros maybe because of direct/stun/turn
14:54<_dp_>nothing to do with goals
