16:26<thewanderer1:#uml>hi. I've got a problem running UML 2.6.38.4 amd64 (kernel from devloop.org.uk) with the Debian Squeeze amd64 userspace where it crashes, leaving this: http://paste.pocoo.org/show/378098/ - this is on a host kernel with PaX and grsec, works OK without those
16:27<thewanderer1:#uml>I also get: kernel64-2.6.38[1744] general protection ip:603d344c sp:61c27a00 error:0 in kernel64-2.6.38.4[60000000+66b000] in the host's log
16:28<shadowdaemon:#uml>I had to use paxctl on it too.
16:28<shadowdaemon:#uml>On the kernel.
16:32<thewanderer1:#uml>yeah, did that
16:32<thewanderer1:#uml>now it's -pemrxs
16:34<shadowdaemon:#uml>Hmm. Not sure.
16:37<thewanderer1:#uml>how so?
16:37<thewanderer1:#uml>I mean, did you need something else?
16:38<shadowdaemon:#uml>I don't think so.
16:39<shadowdaemon:#uml>That looks like a problem on the UML filesystem maybe?
16:40<thewanderer1:#uml>hmm... it's a strange way of justifying :P
16:41<thewanderer1:#uml>works without grsec+pam, breaks with it
16:41<shadowdaemon:#uml>My host is 2.6.38 also.
16:42<shadowdaemon:#uml>Maybe the recent Grsec patches broke it?
16:42<thewanderer1:#uml>well, the same config seems to be working for you and segfaulting for me
16:43<thewanderer1:#uml>and this is all on 2.6.38.4
16:43<thewanderer1:#uml>I wonder if clear.diff is of any significance
16:43<shadowdaemon:#uml>My host is x86 too, not sure if that matters.
16:44<thewanderer1:#uml>yeah, you said earlier you don't have any amd64 machines
16:46<thewanderer1:#uml>hmm nope, it's not clear.diff
16:48<thewanderer1:#uml>my best bet is UDEREF working differently on amd64, but it's a blind shot anyway :P
16:50<shadowdaemon:#uml>Possibly. I have no clue. =P
16:52<thewanderer1:#uml>alright, no biggie :P
16:53<thewanderer1:#uml>I'll write an ELF interpreter in PHP that makes this work anyway :P
16:54<shadowdaemon:#uml>haha
